According to the article "LEDT is rocket science!" published in the New Scientist 25 Sep 99, “ NASA in U.S.A. approved LEDT as the application of light therapy which improve the medical care that is available to astronauts on long-term space Missions.” Hair & Scalp Restoration For many years, doctors in Europe and the USA have used LLLT and LED in the treatment of hair and scalp problems, and traditionally LLLT therapy are administrated in clinic, which is very expensive.
